Fiorenza’s Food For Friends (F4), which works in conjunction with corporations and other nonprofit organizations to promote the cause of hunger awareness, is partnering with the Daily Local News for a food collection.

The Daily Local News will be a drop-off point for the collection of nonperishable food. The donations will be stored in the Community Media Lab and turned over to F4 for distribution. This effort follows the recent success of our sister paper The Mercury, which has collected more than 20,000 items for distribution to Montgomery County food cupboards.
