Programs
In 1996, President Clinton signed into law The Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act. The law protects food donors, including individuals, and nonprofit feeding programs who act in good faith. Because of this act F4 has established several different programs to meet the needs of nonprofit organizations seeking food donations.
Education
Providing “hunger awareness” education so that community members understand the impact of hunger to their communities.
Food Rescue
Partnering with nonprofit organizations in need of food from local suppliers to rescue perishable food on an as needed basis.
Food Drives
Coordinating food drives for corporations that are seeking opportunities to establish a presence within their local community.
